- Susanne Gaddis, PhD, CSP

My journey in integrative health coaching has been nothing short of
phenomenal.

About Linda

Linda is a coach through experience and training. She has a certification from Comprehensive Coaching U and is currently attending the Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program at the Duke Center for Integrative Medicine (through May 17, 2009.) Throughout her career, which has encompassed health care, government and educational settings, she developed a facilitative/coaching model. This approach has helped her to be a participant in her own transformation, while benefiting others. This is her passion in life.

The concept of integrative medicine, and by extension, the field of integrative health coaching, fits with her view of people as being complex systems that benefit greatly by increasing awareness of the interaction of mind, body, and spirit. She herself is extremely grateful for being an example of the benefits of this approach and continues to evolve her practices.

She holds a Masters in Organization Development from the American University/NTL program, which has an emphasis on human relations and working with all levels of systems. She loves facilitation, training and coaching and has partnered with others to build a non-profit in Durham called the Achievement Academy.

Prior to this work, she spent 20 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist, viewing people from the perspective of the whole. She partnered with families as well as individuals, taking into account the communities and family systems in which they needed to function. As a speech/language pathologist, she managed an outpatient clinic in which she was part of a team consisting of neurologists, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and special educators, among others.

Currently, she is practicing integrative health coaching with individuals and groups in the Triangle area of North Carolina. She can be reached at: 919 360-2089 or Linda@KolsteeHealthCoaching.com
